Yang Hou was elected as the associate editor of CEJA
Chemical Engineering Journal Advances announced their new associate editors at recent. ZJU CBE’s ZJU 100 Young Professor Yang Hou is among them.
Hou Yang, candidate of Zhejiang University's "100 Talents Program", doctoral supervisor, winner of excellent youth fund of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Zhejiang provincial special expert, winner of Zhejiang provincial "Outstanding Youth" fund, Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Youth Award, regular member of Key Laboratory of Ministry of education of biomass chemical industry, the winner of National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award, the project evaluation expert of Zhejiang Science and Technology Department, the youth project communication review expert of the Ministry of Education, the core member of the high-level innovation team of Zhejiang universities, and the core member of the leading innovation and entrepreneurship team of Zhejiang Province.
Hou Yang has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in University of California Riverside, University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and Dresden University of Technology. The research contents mainly include environmental pollution control and resource utilization, solar driven photoelectrochemical water splitting to produce hydrogen and oxygen, energy storage and conversion devices (lithium batteries and supercapacitors).
So far, he has published more than 160 academic papers (including invited reviews and Monographs) in international authoritative journals such as NAT. Commun, J. am. Chem. SOC., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Energy Environ. Sci., Adv. Mater., Nano Lett., Nano Today，etc. His papers have been cited more than 10000 times, and the H factor is 56. Among them, 24 were selected as high cited and hot papers of ESI. 15 papers were selected as hot articles, VIP papers, covers, illustrations at the beginning of the volume, top 10 hot articles, monthly most popular papers and monthly most popular download papers. More than 20 papers were reported by Advanced Science News, Chemistry view, Nanotechnology Weekly, Materials views china, High Beam Research, Nanowerk and other scientific media and websites. One American invention and more than 20 Chinese national patents have been applied / authorized. He has made keynote speeches at international conferences for many times, served as the chairman of the conference branch, served as a member of the Scientific Committee of the APCChE 2017, and successively presided over more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, such as the outstanding youth fund project of National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Currently, he is deputy editor: Nano-Micro Letters (Springer Publishing Group, IF = 12.264), editorial board member: Scientific Reports (Nature Publishing Group, IF = 4.120), youth communication expert: Engineering (IF = 6.495), Journal of Chinese Academy of engineering, young editorial board member: Chinese Chemical Letters (Eisevier, IF = 4.632), international journal Graphene, Recent Patients on Materials Science, Nano Energy Systems, Frontiers in Energy Storage, Frontiers in Energy Research. Member of fine chemical young scholars Committee of Chinese Chemical Society, member of Chinese Chemical Society, member of Royal Chemical Society of UK. He has made keynote speeches at international conferences for many times, and served as a member of the Scientific Committee and chairman of the conference.
