Prof. Murray Moo-Young
Prof. Moo-Young is the Distinguished Professor in Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, member of the Academy of Science of the Royal Society of Canada, editor in chief of Biotechnology Advances. He dedicated in the research of bio-chemical engineering more than 50 years. He has published 17 books, 9 patents and 365 papers.
Honors and Awards:
Marvin Johnson Award, the premier award of the American Chemical Society, Biochemical Technology Division, for “outstanding research contributions”
Fellow of the Royal Society, Canada (FRSC), "the highest accolade for a Canadian academic", for distinguished achievements in biotechnology.
“Technology Transfer Merit” Award, Government of Canada, for university- industry research collaborations.
“Innovation” Award, Honorable Mention, Manning Foundation (Canada), for novel bioprocess development.
