The College of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Zhejiang University seeks outstanding applicants for tenured, tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks. Applicants shall have a PhD degree in chemical engineering or a closely related discipline and preference will be given to those possessing prevalent postdoctoral and/or industrial experience. Successful candidates are expected to secure externally funded grants in the development of internationally recognized research programs and make significant contributions to both our undergraduate and graduate programs through teaching, advising and course development.

Established in 1927 as the first chemical engineering program in the country, the College of Chemical and Biological Engineering has a long and storied history in both education and research and has developed a reputation as a world-class institution. The College’s current research strengths include chemical reaction engineering, polymerization and polymer engineering, separation processes, Biological and pharmaceutical engineering and environmental engineering, and it is actively expanding into the areas of synthetic biology, catalysis, energy and sustainability, data mining and artificial intelligence.
